and columnist well known in the poker world. She
writes a weekly column for the Guardian and is
television poker presenter. She has been known to
supplement her income playing Holdem cash games but
recently has earned herself elite status amongst
celebrity tournament poker professionals.
On September 26, 2006
Vicky Coren became the first woman player to win an
EPT Champion after her first place finish in the
event held at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in
London, England. Interesting enough Vicky plays
regularly at the Victoria Casino meaning that the
Vic’s Vic was the Vic at the Vic on September 26.
Vicky Coren has been
playing poker for money for 12 years and has become
a close friend of the Hendon Mob. In 2004 Vicky
Coren had her first major tournament success by
winning the second Celebrity Poker Challenge on
Challenge TV. During the next 2 years she had 5
major tournament cashes before winning
£500,000 and making history
as the first woman EPT champion.
