Tribeca and Tain merged to PlayTech's iPoker Network

March 15, 2007 - Tribeca and Tain have been fully merged into PlayTech's iPoker Network.

In recent months we’ve seen quite a few networks and online poker rooms merge but nothing that even comes close to comparing the latest mega merger between Tribeca, Tain and iPoker.

In November 2006 we reported that Cyprus based gambling software and network provider “PlayTech” had purchased Tribeca Tables Europe Limited and the TAIN Poker Network. In January of 2007 Playtech decided to start planning for their latest acquisitions to be merged into their existing network known as iPoker.

The TAIN network was always small with sites such as Eurolinx, Expekt as their leaders. The Tribeca Table Network however was one of the largest on the market and had dozens of sites with the most popular being Doyles Room and VC Poker.

All of these rooms have now joined iPoker Network which was already lead by Titan Poker, Noble Poker, CD Poker and lots of other large online poker sites. As a result of this merger iPoker networked sites are now in the 4th-5th largest of online poker rooms in terms of player traffic. (The 4th spot is a back and forth battle with OnGame).
