Poker leaves US market - TONYG Guarantees funds.
As many of our readers are already aware our American
friends are going through some tough times as their
government has imposed restrictions on online gambling. In
late 2006 they passed a new law knows as the Unlawful
Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA).
The UIGEA has claimed a new victim, Tony G Poker has no
left the USA market. Tony G Poker is owned by the mouth
from down under, Tony Guoga. Here is a quote from Tony G
himself.
“I feel very sad for all of you good folks in the USA but
your government is very aggressive right now and is
running loose. Neteller money has been seized from people
that have done nothing wrong. Who knows if and when it
will be returned to the people it belongs to. And where
will the government stop in its quest to wipe out Internet
poker?” said Tony G on his site.
It's rumored that Tony G was forced by the US government.
Basically get out now, before something worse happens.
This news came out shortly after the DOJ froze NETeller
accounts.
Tony G has said he will be willing to transfer balances to
other sites in the event that bank transactions will not
be successful. He is personally guaranteeing all payments
which is more than impressive.
European players should feel more than safe playing at
this site.
