Poker Pro For a Year

Stacksback.com has partnered with PokerNews and 888 Pacific Poker to bring our visitors a chance at becoming a Poker Pro for a Year. The 2^nd series of tournaments in this competition is already under way but there is still plenty of opportunity left to qualify.

 

The Poker Pro for a Year Promotion runs over 48 weeks and the ultimate winner will receive a prize package valued at $50,000 which includes a buy in and accommodations to 4 major high stake poker tournaments.

 

The promotion is broken down into 6 eight-week long series which consist of seven low buy in tournaments, one $500 freeroll and one global freeroll. The winner of each Global freeroll receives a buy in to a major tournament such as the EPT Monte Carlo, the WSOP Main Event, the WPT Grand Prix de Aviation, or the Aussie Millions.

 

At the end of each 8 week series the top 10 points leaders will battle it out for a seat at the PokerProForAYear final table. The 7^th seat is awarded to the overall point leader for the entire 48 week league. The final 3 seats are up for grabs by the top 100 overal point leaders who will compete for them in an online qualifier.
