20, 2007 - Joe Hachem becomes the secretary of the
World Poker Association
Joe Hachem has taken a position as the secretary of the
World Poker Association (WPA). The board made this
announcement recently while commenting that bringing on a
quality player and person like Hachem is a great step for
the WPA. Hachem not only won the WSOP Main Event in 2005
he has also won a WPT event and placed in 8 events in
2006.
“I’m both pleased and honored to be chosen to serve on the
World Poker Association Board of Directors. I strongly
support the WPA’s efforts to promote ethics and integrity
in poker, and am happy to take a leadership role with
them.” Said Hachem.
The WPA will be hosting a booth at the 2007 WSOP and will
be doing a major membership drive. If you are not going to
